About the Workshop
The total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 will be a once-in-a-lifetime event for Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. To help schools get ready, we have prepared different sessions for all teachers and education professionals.
Our Eclipse 101 one-hour training session will cover:
- the basics: what is an eclipse;
- details on the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse;
- how to observe safely;
- how to plan for this event in your school.
NO ECLIPSE GLASSES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED through this workshop.
This session will not be recorded. Select the date you wish to attend - all times are Eastern time. Other dates will be available in March - details to come.
